Luke 6:31 is a non-profit organization designed to help those in need of medical supplies and support. 
The inspiration sparked when a need came about for equipment for one Julie Tifft after 3 long months stay in Health Central Hospital.  As you would have imagined everyone was anxious for Julie’s return home so when it came time that she could do just that the excitement was high, however a few hurdles would come up before the dream would come to fruition.  Without a few particular supplies/equipment it was not possible.  The hospital does not supply patients with the every means necessary to function once the patients are discharged and medial supply stores are not open on Sundays.  Friends of the family stepped up to the plate and HOME BOUND, BABY, Julie at last stepped foot out of the hospital.  Andrea Rivera, Julie Tifft’s sister who also spent those 3 months in the hospital relentless in her support; had a desire to help others who would be in her sisters’ shoes one day.  And “pay it forward” for those who gave to Julie.

Founded in 2009 by Andrea Rivera, cofounded by Tiffani Trissel and Julie Tifft.  Andrea was inspired to start the organization by her sister Julie (cofounder) after Julie was released from Health Central Hospital after a three month stay.  Julie did not have the medical supplies that she required to go home and if it weren't for the supplies donated by friends of the family, she would not have been able to go home.  Many patients are released after business hours and after extended stays, we feel that they should not have to worry about not being able to get what they need.    We collect and provide those supplies to those who are in need.  We will deliver the medical supplies at no cost.
